Rebuilding Life After Loss ©

Have you suffered the loss of a loved one?

Does your grief feel unbearable?

Are you confused, lost and uncertain about how to go on?

Grieving the loss of a loved one is one of the most challenging things you will ever do in your lifetime.

Because there are so few places to grieve, survivors of loss often deny their grief in order to make others comfortable.

Your health and well being are compromised when your grief is denied.

Grief does not go away, it merely goes underground —
only to surface years later in some form of illness —
physical, psychological or spiritual.

The grieving process honors the life of a loved one.

“Working with you has opened my eyes to reality in ways that could have taken decades to discover on my own. I could not have taken the steps for myself, or the widows I represent if it were not for you showing me the strength I had inside myself.”

Jenn
Single Mom and War Widow

I would not be where I am emotionally, physically and mentally if it weren’t for your guidance, support and challenges. Thank you for being my strength, my encourager and the one that challenged me to reclaim the me that I lost when I lost my husband.

Howard Querry and Pauline Laurent

Pauline was 22 years old and 7 months pregnant when her husband was killed in action in the jungles of Vietnam in May of 1968.

For 25 years she denied her grief. In 1990, after one loss too many, she faced her denied feelings and moved through them. Her story is detailed in her beautifully written memoir, Grief Denied: A Vietnam Widow’s Story.

Pauline works individually with people on the telephone, offers teleclasses on grief resolution and speaks to audiences about the importance and gifts of grieving.

Pauline offers her clients perspectives and choices, which in turn, allow them to accept and integrate the loss and find ways to transform it into amazing gifts.

Death is not the greatest loss,
the greatest loss is what dies within us when we live.
